NA3HL releases 2024-2025 regular season schedule

June 27, 2024

The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) has announced the release of the 2024-2025 regular season schedule. The NA3HL is entering its 15th season and serves as the only certified USA Hockey Tier III junior league.

Each of the 35 teams in the league’s five divisions will play 47 regular season games with the 2024-25 season commencing on September 6, 2024 and concluding on March 9, 2025.

The NA3HL continues to advance its players within the North American Hockey League pipeline with 37 players signing a NAHL tender agreement for the upcoming season, in addition to 27 players being selected in the 2024 NAHL Draft back on June 12th. During the 2023-24 season, 110 NA3HL alumni took the ice with their respective NAHL organizations.

Not only does the NA3HL advance players within its pipeline, the league also continues to be one of the leaders in junior hockey with the advancement of players onto collegiate hockey at the NCAA and ACHA levels with over 100+ college commitments so far in 2024.

With a total of 330+ alumni in the NCAA (25 at the NCAA DI level, 312 at the NCAA DIII level) and 750+ alumni in the ACHA, we are proud of our players for continuing to advance in their academic and hockey careers at the next level.

“The NA3HL not only places players directly to the NCAA and ACHA level it is the only league of its kind that advances players to the NAHL,” said NAHL Commissioner Mark Frankenfeld. “If your playing ability is a fit for the NA3HL then you now have a path to develop, gain exposure and advance not only to college hockey but to college hockey through the NAHL.”

The 2024-25 season is an exciting time for the NA3HL, as the league will be at 35 teams, boasting a geographical footprint with organizations in 19 states (Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Wisconsin and Wyoming).

The NA3HL will hold three events during the 2024-25 season, the first being the league-wide Showcase taking place December 15-17, 2024 at the Super Rink in Blaine, Minnesota. The second event will be the NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament, taking place on February 17-18, 2025 at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan. The NA3HL will wrap up their season at the Fraser Cup Championship Tournament in St. Louis, Missouri where the league will crown a league Champion, taking place March 26-30, 2025.
