Lumberjacks defenseman Lange makes ACHA Commitment
The Granite City Lumberjacks of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that defenseman Jake Lange has committed to play ACHA DI hockey for Lindenwood University.
Lange, 21, is a two-year NA3HL player, suiting up for both the Rochester Grizzlies and more recently, the Granite City Lumberjacks. Over the course of 72 games, 11 of which being Fraser Cup Playoff games, the St. Louis, MO native tallied 26 points (2 goals, 24 assists), maintaining a fantastic plus-minus of +31 during the 2023-24 season.
Of his 18 points this season, the 6’3” blueliner recorded 7 points during the month of February, including a 4 point game on the 3rd.
Prior to beginning his junior career, Lange has been part of the NAHL family dating back to the 2018-19 season, playing in the NAPHL with CarShield AAA. He would go on to play a total of five seasons in the NAPHL at the 15U, 16U and 18U levels.
Lange is one of four players to commit from the Lumberjacks this season and will join teammate Jack Louko at Lindenwood in the fall.
