Sabres forward Roaldson makes ACHA Commitment

The Badlands Sabres of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward Brooks Roaldson has committed to play ACHA DI hockey for the University of Jamestown.

Roaldson,19, suited up for his first season of junior hockey with the Badlands Sabres. Appearing in 44 games, the 6’2” forward led the Sabres in scoring, tallying 37 points (18 goals, 19 assists). As the leading scorer, Roaldson went on an eight game point streak, recording nine points, including a game winning goal against the Sheridan Hawks in overtime on January 27th. 

Following his eight game point streak that ranged from January to February, Roaldson went on yet another seven game tear to end the season, racking up 12 points (4 goals, 8 assists). His best game of the year took place during this second streak, netting two goals, one being the game winner, and recording one assists during the Sabres final game of the 2023-24 campaign against the Gillette Wild. 

Roaldson is the third player to commit from the Sabres this season and will be one of six incoming freshmen with NA3HL ties for the Jimmies.
