3View: Bozeman Icedogs

The 3View video series will feature an in-depth look into all NA3HL teams in preparation for the 2024-25 season, with one team being highlighted daily, leading all the way up until the start of the regular season on September 6th. 3View will include interviews with each team’s head coach, as they provide fans with their expectations and outlook for the 2024-25 season. 

Bozeman Icedogs 

Head Coach: Mike Perkins (Going on 4th season)

2023-24 season record: 30-16-0-1 (3rd in Frontier Division)

2023-24 leading scorer: Bodie Shepardson (58 points)

2024 Playoffs: Lost in Division Semi-Finals to Gillette 

2024-25 Division: Frontier Division

Having a mix of veteran and rookie players seems to be the recipe for success in Bozeman for Head Coach Mike Perkins and the Icedogs. Maintaining a balance between the two while still focusing on player development is the reason why the Icedogs were able to advance players to the collegiate level and the NAHL while making a run during the Fraser Cup Playoffs. As the offseason continues, Perkins is excited to continue to build the fanbase in Bozeman and produce high quality talent that the city has seen for over 30+ years.
