The NA3HL Northeast Generals are proud to announce that standout forward Michael Locke has committed to play his NCAA hockey at Manhattanville University!
The 3 time Fraser Cup Finalist helped solidify the Northeast Generals as one of the premier Junior programs in North America. Michael’s hard hitting and gritty style made him a favorite in the community and among his teammates. Michael started his Generals career with the 16U NAPHL Northeast Generals. After finishing an outstanding prep career Michael joined the NA3HL Generals and had an amazing career. In 82 regular season games Mike put up 28 goals and 64 assists while almost always being at the top of the league in +/-.
Mike will continue his outstanding hockey career at Manhattanville!
“We are so proud of Mike and all of his accomplishments for the Northeast Generals organization. He is such a leader on and off the ice. A tremendous player and person. It isn’t easy when you father is the Head Coach but he just put his head down and outworked everyone. This is a tremendous exclamation point on a excellent Junior Hockey career! He is an all time General and will be hard to replace!” Said GM Bryan Erikson.
Michael Locke is one of four players to commit from the Generals this season and will join his brother Owen at Manhattanville in the fall.
