3View: El Paso Rhinos

The 3View video series will feature an in-depth look into all NA3HL teams in preparation for the 2024-25 season, with one team being highlighted daily, leading all the way up until the start of the regular season on September 6th. 3View will include interviews with each team’s head coach, as they provide fans with their expectations and outlook for the 2024-25 season. 

El Paso Rhinos

Head Coach: Alec Sherman (Going on 2nd season)

2023-24 season record: 32-13-1-1 (2nd in South Division)

2023-24 leading scorer: Nick Jones (72 points. 31 goals, 41 assists )

2024 Playoffs: Eliminated in the Division Semifinals by the Louisiana Drillers

2024-25 Division: South Division 

Having a family-like culture in El Paso was a huge factor in the success for the Rhinos last season, as it was their best year in organization history. With a large group of returners to lead this locker room, Head Coach Alec Sherman feels this will be an easy tradition to continue moving forward. Sherman is excited to bring on former El Paso player Michael Rivera as his newly appointed Assistant Coach and continue developing players for the next level and reaching their ultimate goal of advancing to the Fraser Cup Finals in St. Louis, MO come March.
