Lumberjacks forward Johnson makes NCAA Commitment
The Granite City Lumberjacks of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward Hayden Johnson has committed to play NCAA DIII hockey for Lawrence University in the NCHA.
A two-year player for the Lumberjacks and a 2023 Fraser Cup Champion, Johnson appeared in 105 games for Granite City, recording 85 points (35 goals, 50 assists). Of his 35 goals, 6 were the deciding factor for the Lumberjacks while 12 came on the powerplay and 5 were scored shorthanded.
As the leading scorer for Granite City this season, Johnson had 14 games where he was able to get on the scoresheet twice or more, including a four-point game against the Willmar WarHawks on November 10th. In addition to his offensive success,
