3View: Louisiana Drillers

The 3View video series will feature an in-depth look into all NA3HL teams in preparation for the 2024-25 season, with one team being highlighted daily, leading all the way up until the start of the regular season on September 6th. 3View will include interviews with each team’s head coach, as they provide fans with their expectations and outlook for the 2024-25 season. 

Louisiana Drillers

Head Coach: Chris Francis (Going on 2nd season)

2023-24 season record: 30-15-0-2 (3rd in South Division)

2023-24 leading scorer: Brody Neish (62 points)

2024 Playoffs: Eliminated in Fraser Cup Round-Robin

2024-25 Division: South Division 

After serving as an Assistant Coach for the Odessa Jackalopes in the NAHL, Louisiana Drillers Head Coach Chris Francis transitioned to the NA3HL, having a stellar first season as the Drillers advanced to their first ever Fraser Cup. Being exposed to the Tier 2 level first hand, Francis knows what it takes to succeed in the NAHL and hopes to help players climb the ladder of development beyond the NA3HL. With the bar set high for the 2024-25 campaign, Francis is excited to get back to the grind that is the South Division.
