Glen Farmer and the Sea Captains took care of the Titans on Wednesday

Norwich 4 @ New Jersey 1 - The Norwich Sea Captains dominated their matinee against the New Jersey Titans, winning 4-1 on Wednesday. Mitchell Goodman got the Sea Captains on the board first with his second of the season. Glen Farmer increased the Norwich lead with his sixth of the campaign to give Norwich a two goal lead heading into the third. The onslaught continued as Tony Morran and Ryan Bernard scored to make it a 4-0 game. Daniil Korobeynikov broke the goose egg for the Titans with his fourth of the year. Lucas Vellequette earned the win in net as he was nearly perfect, making 19 saves on 20 shots. Nicolas Gould was handed the loss for the Titans as he made 36 saves.

Minnesota W 3 @ Willmar 4 (SO) - Carson Wendorff scored the only goal of the shootout as the Willmar WarHawks took down the Minnesota Wilderness 4-3. Jack Larson notched the game’s first goal as well as his first of the season to give the Wilderness the early lead. The two teams would trade goals in the second as Scott Woltman tied the game for Willmar just to see Kaden Rocheleau give Minnesota the lead again just 51 seconds later. Woltman netted his second of the night moments into the third period to even the game again for Willmar. Mason Wanka put Willmar into the lead for the first time with his eighth of the season. However the Wilderness would tie the game up in the final minute as Rocheleau scored his second of the game. After a scoreless overtime, both goalies were perfect in the shootout up until the fourth round where Wendorff netted the game winner and sent the fans home happy. Josh Mack picked up the huge win in between the pipes as he made 51 saves and stopped all four shooters in the skills competition. Pierson Haislet stopped 38 shots in the loss for the Wilderness.
