Wausau 5 @ Wisconsin 4 (OT) - 60 minutes would not be enough, but two goals from Jake Garrow would be enough for the Wausau Cyclones to defeat the Wisconsin Woodsmen by a final of 5-4 on Friday night. The lone goal of the first belonged to Brandon Piwko for Wausau. In the second, Garrow would bury one less than a minute in to double the Cyclones lead, and Connor Dvorak would score to give Wausau a three goal lead. Josh Kauppinen would cut the lead back to two, and 3-1 would be the score after 40 minutes. Kauppinen and Tristen May-Robinson would score 90 seconds apart to tie the game. Easton Plachetka would give Wausau a late lead, but Justin Funk would score an extra attacker goal with 35 seconds left to send the game to overtime, where Garrow would score his second to give Wausau the extra point.
