Sunday Wrap Up: Austin Completes Sweep in El Paso

Maine 2 @ Northeast 5 - In the first period, Liam Schaentzler scored a goal for the Generals with help from Nicholas Brophy. Samuel Gusty assisted by Brophy and Bohdan Tuchyn added another goal. Jaxson Sardinha put the Nordiques on the board assisted by Cannon Gough. Schaentzler with help from Gusty and Brophy put one more goal on the board for Northeast. During the second period, Trenton Impens scored a goal with help from Carter Walls for Maine. In the third period, Ryan Solari increased the Generals lead assisted by Aiden Anderson and Nathan McFall. Cody Lightfoot was assisted by Francisco Romano and Gavin Cowan to score another goal for the Generals. Gabe Pomerleau made 44 saves for the Maine Nordiques and Nathan McFall made 30 saves for the Northeast Generals.
Austin 4 @ El Paso 3 (SO) - In the first period, El Paso’s Joseph Gutierrez got the game started early with help from Kacper Gach and Jake Bamback. Ashton Morin assisted by Taras Korotchenko put the Ice Bats on the board. During the second period, Guhnar Hillman assisted by Thomas Forgrave scored for Austin. Ethan Salter assisted by Arys Perardi increased the lead. During the third period, Bamback scored for the Rhinos with help from Donovan Bradford. Andres Natenzon-Schack tied up the game with assists from Britton Oldham and Andre Valenzuela. No goals were scored in overtime. Mikhail Levaniuk scored a goal for the Ice Bats ending the game in the shootout. Gavin Morris made 27 saves for the Austin Ice Bats and Brayden Macko made 29 saves for the El Paso Rhinos.
Binghamton 4 @ New Jersey 0 - During the first period, Carson Curry scored for the Buzz assisted by Griffin Gagnon and Keegan Elliott. In the second period, Gagnon scored a goal with help from Joey Roselli and Ethan Miller. In the third period, Jason DiMatteo increased Binghamton’s lead with assists from Preston Peterson and Elliott. Curry scored one more goal assisted by Tyler Hamlin and Roselli. Matthew Ketcham made 25 saves for the Binghamton Buzz for the shutout. Nicolas Gould made 47 saves for the New Jersey Titans.
