by Justice Covert & Tristin McKinstry

Long Beach 1 @ New Hampshire 4 - The Long Beach Sharks did not take a ton of shots on Saturday morning. In fact, they were outshot 51-21 by the hosting New Hampshire Jr. Mountain Kings. But they had opportunities to win this game through the five power play chances they received. Unfortunately, they didn't convert on any of them. New Hampshire rode a three goal second period to claim a 4-1 victory on Saturday.
Binghamton 5 @ Maine 3 - The Binghamton Buzz fell behind into a hole. The Buzz allowed two first period goals that put them on the back foot. However, they did not allow the hosting Maine Nordiques to take control of the game. Binghamton held Maine to just 12 shots on goal in the last two periods. Thanks to a three-goal second period, the Buzz claimed a 5-3 victory on Saturday.
Willmar 6 @ Mason City 4 - For the most part, it was a back and forth affair between the Willmar WarHawks and Mason City Toros. Willmar scored twice in the first period to jump out to an early lead. However, Mason City made it a game with a goal late in the first. The two teams traded goals for the remainder of the game, but the visiting WarHawks came out on top by a score of 6-4.
St. Louis 1 @ Peoria 9 - The Peoria Mustangs made a statement on Saturday. The most things hosted the St. Louis Junior Blues for a Saturday matinee game. However, the game was never truly competitive. Peoria stormed out of the gate and by the end of the contest they claimed a 9-1 victory on home ice. Wyatt Duke scored a hat trick while Rex Rhodes added another two goals for Peoria in this contest.
Wisconsin 3 @ Rochester 2 - The Wisconsin Woodsmen and the Rochester Grizzlies played a close game on Saturday. Despite the close nature of the game, however, the Woodsmen had the upper hand throughout most of the contest. They scored twice in the first period and added an insurance marker in the second as they skated to a 3-2 victory away from home on Saturday. Max Lazo was the star of the show as he scored twice for the Woodsmen in this contest.
Louisiana 4 @ Texas B 2 - The Louisiana Drillers and the Texas Brahmas played a pretty intense game on Saturday. The Brahmas recorded 41 shots in the game while the Drillers came close with just 39. Moreover, the teams combined for nine power play opportunities with five of them going to the Brahmas. It was the visiting Louisiana squad that capitalized on their opportunities though, scoring twice on four power play opportunities to claim a 3-2 victory away from home.
West Bend 7 @ Wausau 1 - The hosting Wausau Cyclones got off to a perfect start on Saturday. They scored the opening goal and everything seemed to be going their way in the early stages. However, there are fantastic start would soon turn into a complete nightmare. The visiting West Bend Power would score seven unanswered goals as they completely dominated away from home and claimed victory on Saturday. Evan Burchardt turned in a star performance, scoring two goals and adding an assist in West Bend's dominant win on the road.
Austin 3 @ Texas R 1 - In the final game before their postseason campaign, the Austin Ice Bats finished off the 2025 campaign with a 3-1 win over the Texas RoadRunners. Scoring a goal in each period, forwards Arys Perardi and Georgii Tokarskll and defenseman Paul Wiese each lit the lantern in the Ice Bats win. The goal from Tokarskll added to a hot run for him of late, having scored five goals in the last three games. The lone goal for the RoadRunners was scored by forward Cole Stranathan, his ninth of the season. The scoring could have been much higher in the contest, as each team had seven power-player opportunities, but only one was successful. Austin goalie Bryson Frazee saved 26 of 27 shots on goal, and Texas goalie Hunter Houle saved 31 of 33.
Tulsa 0 @ El Paso 6 - It was all El Paso in the Rhinos 6-0 shutout home win over the Tulsa Jr. Oilers. Forwards Jacob Mish and Jake Bamback each scored a pair of goals in the win, the second-straight multi-goal game by Bamback. The rest of the scoring was capped off by defensemen Ethan McKnight and Liam McCall. The shutout performance is credited to El Paso goalie Dylan Newton, his third of the season.
Butte 2 @ Great Falls 4 - With 64 shots on goal, the Great Falls Americans finished off their 2025 regular season on a high note, beating the Butte Irish 4-2. Forwards Jayden Rogen, Chase Hapka, Zac Orwig, and Garren Narveaz each found the back of the net in the victory. It was Hapka's second game in a row with a goal. Butte goalie Logan Hunter did his best to limit the damage. Hunter saved 60 of 64 shots on a goal and killed all three of the Americans' power play opportunities. Great Falls came away on top, though, and goalie Isaiah Paulnock got the win after saving 28 of 30 shots.
Sheridan 0 @ Badlands 5 - It took until the very last game of the regular season, but the Badlands Sabres finally clinched a postseason spot, eking in off of a 5-0 home shutout win over the Sheridan Hawks. The win broke a tiebreaker the Sabres had with the Bozeman Icedogs. In his second-straight multi-goal game, forward Zach Vockler scored two goals in the Sabres win. Forward Ryan Jordan also lit the lantern twice, and forward Thayne Coston contributed with his 23rd goal of the season. Goalie Jackson Roethler saved all 27 of the shots on goal he saw, capturing his first shutout win of the season.
Gillette 3 @ Yellowstone 0 - The Gillette Wild closed out their 2025 regular season campaign with a 3-0 shutout win on the road against the Yellowstone Quake. The scoring came from forwards Dantae Hanziker, Beau Delich, and Riley Schmidt. It was a series of missed opportunities from the Yellowstone offense which perhaps contributed most to the loss. Yellowstone came up short in every one of their eleven power play opportunities and could not light the lantern once against Gillette goalie Wylen Cambensy. The 34 of 34 shots on goal shutout was Cambensy's second of the season.
Helena 6 @ Bozeman 1 - The Bozeman Icedogs were sitting on the right side of a tiebreaker with the Badlands Sabres for one of the last spots in the postseason entering their final game of the regular season against the Frontier Division-leading Helena Bighorns, but a 6-1 home loss has eliminated the Icedogs from playoff contention. Defenseman Hunter Coulombe led the way for the Bighorns in the win, scoring two goals. The rest of the scoring came from defensemen Colin Becker and Caden Fenstein and forwards G'bari Mayers and Austin Uecker. Bozeman couldn't get any offense going through the first two periods, scoring their lone goal by forward Tyler Klingbeil early in the third. The win gets credited to Helena goalie Branson Appelman, his 14th of the season, after saving 38 of 39 shots on goal and killing all five of the Icedogs' power player opportunities.
