Sunday Wrap-Up: Louisiana, Peoria and Tulsa Close Out Regular Season with Wins

Louisiana 3 @ Texas B 1 - Two goals from forward Jake Bergstrom helped the Louisiana Drillers cap off the 2024 regular season with a 3-1 road win over the Texas Brahmas. It was Bergstrom's sixth multi-goal game of the season who increased his season goal total to 26. The other score for the Drillers came from defenseman Jackson Lord, his seventh of the season. The Brahma's lone score was from forward Carter Kotrba, his 21st of the season and first of the month. The contest's outcome had no bearing on the postseason as both squads had already clinched playoff berths and the Drillers had already won the South Division crown.
Peoria 2 @ St. Louis 1 - The Peoria Mustangs ended their season on a high note, winning their last game of the regular season on the road against the St. Louis Jr. Blues 2-1. Peoria forwards Johnny Switzer and Rex Rhodes each scored a goal in the victory. Meanwhile, forward Brady Cook was the only one to light the lantern for St. Louis. The Jr. Blues didn't have much success against Peoria goalie Albert Ancinec, who saved 38 of 39 shots on goal, helping clinch his sixth win of the season.
Tulsa 4 @ El Paso 3 (OT) - The Tulsa Jr. Oilers found a way to win in their last game of the 2024-25 regular season. The Jr. Oilers won in overtime on the road 4-3 against the El Paso Rhinos. Tulsa forwards Dylan Pepper and Henry Pinkerman, along with defenseman Colin Sharp, each scored a goal in regulation. Sharp's goal happened to be his first of the season. Forward Caden Vos was the hero for Tulsa in overtime, scoring his 11th goal of the season and sealing the Jr. Oilers' first victory in months to finish the season on the right note.
