NA3HL Announces Stars of the Week

March 10, 2025

The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) is pleased to announce the Divisional Stars of the Week for the week ending in March 9th. The Divisional Stars of the Week is an award given each week of the regular season to the top performing players in each of the five divisions of the NA3HL as nominated by their head coaches.

Central Division Star of the Week: Odin Klebba, Forward, West Bend Power

NA3HL veteran forward Odin Klebba had a great weekend with West Bend as the Power swept the weekend, claiming the West Division regular season title. During Friday’s matchup with the Grizzlies, the Hartford, WI native was a playmaking machine, racking up three assists on the night, including a helper on the game winning goal. The Power continued their momentum into game two as they took on the Cyclones, emerging with a dominant 7-1 victory. During this contest, Klebba scored his seventh goal of the season at the 1:19 mark of the final frame.

“Odin has taken his game to a different level the last quarter of the season. In addition to typically matching up with other team’s top scoring line, Odin and his line have found their scoring touch. Clearly, he will be a major part of any post season success we may have,” stated Head Coach Jason Woods.

2nd Star: Lleyton Jaschke, Wisconsin Woodsmen

3rd Star: Maxim Lazo, Wisconsin Woodsmen

East Division Star of the Week: Peter Alfano, Goaltender, Norwich Sea Captains

Peter Alfano ended the regular season on a high note, delivering an outstanding performance as the backbone of the Sea Captains' defense. He started in the final three games before the playoffs, leading the team to victories in each. On Tuesday, in a crucial matchup against New Hampshire, the West Haven, CT native recorded his second shutout of the season, stopping all 27 shots. Alfano then went on to play back-to-back nights against Northeast, earning another shutout on Friday with 21 saves. Over the course of the week, he faced 66 shots and made 64 saves, finishing with an impressive .969 save percentage for the week.

“Peter had an outstanding week for us in the net. His numbers speak for themselves, but what should not go unnoticed is the confidence that he played with throughout the week,” stated Head Coach Kevin Cunningham. “His poise elevated our entire team and his performance was a significant key to a strong week for our team to close the regular season well and, hopefully, springboard us into the playoffs on a confident note.”

2nd Star: Andrew Hill, Norwich Sea Captains

3rd Star: Tommy Titone, New Hampshire Jr. Mountain Kings

Frontier Division Star of the Week: Jackson Roethler, Goaltender, Badlands Sabres

The Badlands Sabres clinched the fourth and final spot in the 2025 Fraser Cup Playoffs with a commanding sweep over the Sheridan Hawks, thanks in large part to the outstanding play of goaltender Jackson Roethler. The Dodge County, MN native was exceptional throughout both games. He started the series by stopping 22 of 23 shots. Roethler capped off the regular season with his best performance of the year, earning his first shutout by making all 27 saves in a dominant effort against the tough Sheridan squad, while also denying them on all five power-play opportunities. With 49 saves on 50 shots in the series, Roethler finished the weekend with an impressive save percentage of .98.

“We traded for Jackson early in the year and he has been an awesome addition to our locker room. He’s the type of kid that you need on the ice and off. He has an infectious positive attitude, which has helped his development and our teams. He has stepped up in big games throughout the year and I can’t wait to see him perform in the playoffs,” stated Head Coach Brooks Mitzel.

2nd Star: Zach Vockler, Badlands Sabres

3rd Star: Aiden Kennedy, Great Falls Americans

South Division Star of the Week: Georgii Tokarskii, Forward, Austin Ice Bats

Georgii Tokarskii extended his point streak to seven games with an impressive performance against the Texas RoadRunners. In Friday's 4-2 win, the Ice Bats rookie came out strong, recording an assist on the first goal of the game, which was also the only goal of the first period. He kept the momentum going into the third, scoring twice, including one power-play goal. Tokarskii continued his stellar play in game two, netting the game-winning goal at the 13:20 mark of the second period, his second game-winner of the season. With these

“Georgii is a difference maker with great offensive ability. When he consistently plays his game, he will continue to climb up the leagues once an opportunity is available to him. He has learned to play a team game and buy into what we all believe in,” stated Head Coach Westin Michaud.

2nd Star: Casper Rys Sakrisvold, Louisiana Drillers

3rd Star: Caden Voss, Tulsa Jr. Oilers

Against Mason City, Irion continued to shine, registering two more assists, both on goals scored by Gabe Adams. As a leader and great offense player for Irion, he recently made an ACHA Commitment to DI Lawrence Tech.
