NA3HL Announces New Team in Greer, SC

The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) has announced that its Board of Governors has approved the membership of the Carolina Rage, with the team set to begin play in the 2025-26 season.
“We have always focused on creating a path for the Southeast market, so this is an exciting new chapter, and we are thrilled to bring high level junior hockey to this region. It has been very important to align with the NA3HL a (North American Hockey League direct affiliate) as it is the perfect fit for our hockey community. We are looking forward to continuing to offer elite hockey opportunities with the best developmental path and hockey culture for both our players and our fan base here in our own community,” exclaimed Owner Darren Anderson.
The Ice Station will serve as the home rink for the Rage. This is a versatile facility that has received $2 million in upgrades over the past 36 months, with ongoing improvements. The Ice Station is conveniently located in Greer, SC, just 5 miles from Interstate 85 and the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport.
“We have dedicated a significant amount of time to expanding the Southeast footprint of the NA3HL,” said NAHL Commissioner and President Mark Frankenfeld. “The Rage will be a key addition to this growing region, which has become an increasingly important hockey market. Their presence will create more opportunities for local players to develop and pursue NAHL and college hockey opportunities.”
The NA3HL is the only USA Hockey-sanctioned Tier III Junior league and serves as one of the top training grounds in the country by providing the best coaching, exposure and developmental vehicles available for student-athletes. The NA3HL advances more players to the NAHL, NCAA and ACHA than any other junior league of its kind.
