46 NA3HL Alumni Featured at the 2025 NCAA Division III Men’s Hockey Tournament

The stage is set for the 2025 NCAA Division III Men’s Hockey Championship, with first-round games starting on Saturday, March 15, 2025. The North American 3 Hockey League is proud to announce that 46 alumni will be participating in the tournament, representing twelve different NCAA programs.
Ten conferences were awarded with automatic qualification while the remaining four teams were selected at-large by the NCAA Division III Ice Hockey Committee. Twelve of the fourteen teams in the tournament have at least one former player from the NA3HL. Gustavus Adolphus College leads the pack with 15 players who have NA3HL ties, including five who have progressed from the NA3HL to the NAHL and then to NCAA D3, the true ladder of development.
Two programs earned automatic byes for the first round of competition due to their record on the season. Curry College and the two-time defending national champion, Hobart College, will play their first round of play in the Quarterfinals. Curry College is spotlighted by Shane Soderwall, the CNE Player and Goaltender of the Year, an impressive achievement for the ‘02 netminder and a proud alumni of the Rochester Grizzlies.
