Binghamton Takes Another Step Toward Fraser Cup

Northeast 1 @ Binghamton 2 (Binghamton leads series 1-0): Preston Peterson’s second period goal was the difference as the Buzz earned another playoff victory, this one over the Northeast Generals by a score of 2-1. Ethan Miller netted the opening goal of the contest 12:30 into the first period. In the second period it was the Generals tying the game with Mason Frary’s first of the postseason. That set the stage for Peterson’s eventual game winning goal at the 15:53 mark of the middle frame. Dalton Elliott would finish the afternoon with 40 saves and 12 of them coming in the third period. Jascha Grossenbacher suffered the loss in goal as he had great afternoon, making 37 stops.
