West Bend Secures Final Spot in Fraser Cup

Quinn O'Connor's third period goal was the difference to send West Bend to the Fraser Cup
Rochester 2 @ West Bend 3 (West Bend wins series 2-1): The final ticket to the Fraser Cup was up for grabs on Sunday night, and this time 60 minutes would be enough, as a late Quinn O’Connor goal would give the West Bend Power a 3-2 win over the Rochester Grizzlies, clinching the Central Division championship, and the last ticket to the Fraser Cup. In the first, Blake Mitchell opened the scoring for the Power, and the home squad took the lead heading into the intermission. In the second, Mason Decker would bury one on the man advantage to tie the game. Jozef Silhar would give the Power the lead, but with under a minute to go in the middle frame, Tyler Steuck would bring the game level heading into the third. Late in the third, O’Connor would give the Power the lead. Rochester would fight desperately to tie it up, but 11 third period saves from Power goaltender Adam Prokop would shut the door on the Rochester comeback.
