Moose Assistant Captain Milles makes NCAA Commitment

The Minnesota Moose of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that Assistant Captain Kaden Milles has committed to play NCAA DIII hockey for the newly established program at Beloit College.
Miles, 21, concluded his junior career with the Minnesota Moose, playing in 33 games and averaging a point per game, with 15 goals and 18 assists on the season. Over half of his 15 goals during his final year came on special teams, four on the power play, two shorthanded, and one in a shootout, highlighting his importance to the success of the Moose in their inaugural season.
In his 33 games, the Fairbanks, AK native recorded two or more points in nine of them. Notably, he had a standout four-goal weekend, scoring two goals on back-to-back nights against the Minnesota Wilderness and Granite City Lumberjacks. The highlight of that weekend was Miles netting the game-winning goal against the Lumberjacks, leading the Moose to their first-ever victory over their newly established rivals in franchise history.
"We wish Kaden the best as he enters the next phase of his academic and hockey development. Kaden was, absolutely, one of the major contributors to the turnaround of the Minnesota Moose's season,” stated Moose Head Coach Todd Sanden. “Posting over a point per game average in his time with the Moose and being an everyday leader as a captain, he helped the Moose consistently win in his time here. Kaden has the drive and personal expectations that will ensure that Beloit will be successful in his time there."
Miles is the first player to make a college commitment this season from the Moose.
