Power Goaltender Prokop makes NCAA Commitment

The West Bend Power of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that goaltender Adam Prokop has committed to play NCAA DIII hockey for Saint Mary's University.
Prokop, 21, has spent his entire junior hockey career in the NAHL and NA3HL. Over two seasons with the Power, he played 61 games in the NA3HL and also made appearances in the NAHL with several teams.
This season marked a career-best for the Wausau, WI native, who was an absolute force in net. Prokop backstopped the Power to a dominant campaign, helping them secure both the Central Division Regular Season and Playoff titles. His stellar play continued through the Fraser Cup Tournament, where he helped lead the team to its first-ever Championship game appearance in franchise history.
Prokop finished the season atop the league's goaltending charts, boasting a remarkable 1.58 goals-against average and a .938 save percentage. He recorded two shutouts, including a standout 29-save performance in the season opener.
Thanks to his consistency, dominance, and leadership between the pipes, Prokop was honored with both the Goaltender of the Year and Most Valuable Player awards, cementing his status as one of the league’s elite performers in the 2024-25 season.
“Adam has worked incredibly hard for this moment, and we couldn’t be prouder. He’s been an absolute rock for our team all season—calm under pressure, relentless in his preparation, and always putting the team first. Beyond being a phenomenal goaltender, he’s a fantastic human being who leads by example every single day,” exclaimed Power Head Coach Jason Woods. “His commitment to Saint Mary’s University is so well-deserved, and I know he’s just getting started. The entire West Bend community is behind him, and we can’t wait to watch him succeed at the next level.”
Prokop is one of two players from the Power to make a college commitment this season.
