Irish forward Anselmo makes college commitment

The Butte Irish of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward Bobby Anselmo has committed to play college hockey for the University of Oregon.  

Anselmo, 20, recently wrapped up his junior hockey career after appearing in 36 games this season with the Butte Irish. The Spokane, WA native made a strong impact on the scoresheet, averaging 1.3 points per game and finishing the year with 47 points. One standout moment came late in the season during a weekend series against the Gillette Wild, where the Irish completed a sweep. Anselmo delivered in a big way, recording back-to-back multi-goal performances, scoring twice in the opener and netting a hat trick in game two.

Anselmo is one of numerous players from the Irish to make a college commitment this season.
