Power defenseman Kundinger makes NCAA Commitment

The West Bend Power of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that defenseman Tommy Kundinger has committed to play NCAA DIII hockey for the newly established program at Beloit College.
Kundinger, 20, has been a cornerstone of the West Bend Power’s blue line, wrapping up a four-year NA3HL career with an impressive 168 games played. A steady presence on the back end, the Neenah, WI native finished his time in West Bend with 68 career points (21 goals, 47 assists), with the 2024-25 campaign standing out as his most productive season yet.
This year, Kundinger elevated his game to new heights, recording 28 points (10 goals, 18 assists) while boasting a standout +34 plus-minus rating. Among his 10 goals, three were game-winners, three came on the power play, and one was scored while shorthanded.
His standout moment of the year came during the final weekend of the regular season, when he erupted for a three-point night against the Wisconsin Woodsmen. In the 6-2 win, Kundinger netted a shorthanded goal and added two assists in a statement performance.
Thanks to his reliable play and leadership on the ice, Kundinger earned multiple looks at the next level, getting called up to the North American Hockey League four times, appearing in two games each with the Wisconsin Windigo and Watertown Shamrocks.
“We are so excited for this young man. I’ve been truly blessed to watch his growth and maturity firsthand over the past four seasons with the Power. Tommy showed incredible heart and toughness this past year, consistently playing at an elite level. He was the anchor of our defensive core and a true staple of this team—reliable, resilient, and relentless,” stated Power Head Coach Jason Woods. “To see his hard work pay off is exactly what the journey of junior hockey is all about. Good luck at Beloit, Tommy! I can’t wait to see all you’ll accomplish.”
Kundinger is one of four players from the Power to make a college commitment this season.
