Grizzlies forward LaHaie makes NCAA Commitment

The Rochester Grizzlies of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward Andrew LaHaie has committed to play NCAA DIII hockey for Anna Maria College.
LaHaie, 21, wrapped up his junior hockey career with the Rochester Grizzlies of the Central Division, making a strong impression in his final stretch. The Houston, TX native joined the Grizzlies late in the 2023-24 season and quickly made an impact, registering four points in 14 games. His performance earned him a re-signing with Rochester, returning for the 2024-25 campaign with momentum and confidence.
He came out firing to start the season, notching five goals and an assist over just 10 games. One of his standout performances came on October 5th against the St. Louis Jr. Blues, where he found the back of the net twice, including the game-winning goal.
Unfortunately, LaHaie’s promising season was cut short due to an injury in November, bringing an early end to what had been shaping up to be a breakout year.
“Andrew joined us at the end of the 23-24 season and was a great addition on and off the ice,” stated Grizzlies’ Head Coach Tyler Veen. “Entering the 24-25 season, we looked at him as a leader and he performed to those standards up until his unfortunate season ending injury. We are proud of his commitment to the game and recovery as he embarks on this new journey!”
LaHaie is one of three players from the Grizzlies to make a college commitment this season.
