The Binghamton Buzz of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward Daniel Tirendi has committed to play college hockey for Temple University.
Tirendi, 19, wrapped up the 2024–25 season with the Binghamton Buzz after being acquired at the trade deadline. He made his debut with the team during the first weekend of February and quickly made his presence felt. The Exton, PA native became an immediate impact player, recording 23 points over the final 11 regular-season games and registering at least one point in all but one of them.
He delivered six multi-point performances during that stretch, highlighted by a standout four-point effort against the New Hampshire Jr. Mountain Kings on February 21. In that game, he not only netted a shorthanded goal but also added three assists.
In the postseason, Tirendi continued to contribute, notching points in four of the team’s six games. His top playoff performance also came against New Hampshire, where he scored a goal, picked up two assists, and finished with a +3 rating.
Tirendi is the first player from the Buzz to make a college commitment this season.
