Bighorns defenseman Becker makes college commitment

The Helena Bighorns of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that defenseman Colin Becker has committed to play college hockey for North Dakota State University.
Becker, 20, spent two seasons in the NA3HL, playing in the West Division with the Alexandria Blizzard before finishing his junior career in the Frontier Division with the Helena Bighorns. Over 75 career games, the Fergus Falls, MN native recorded 20 points, including 5 goals and 15 assists.
His most productive stretch of the 2024-25 season came between late January and mid-February, when he registered points in six consecutive games. The streak was highlighted on January 25th, when he tallied a goal and an assist in a 5-3 win over the Butte Irish. In that game, Becker scored Helena’s opening goal to tie the contest at 1-1 heading into the second period, and later assisted on the game-winning goal.
Becker is one of five players from the Bighorns to make a college commitment this season.
