3View: Badlands Sabres

The 3View video series will feature an in-depth look into all NA3HL teams in preparation for the 2025-26 season, with one team being highlighted daily, leading all the way up until the start of the regular season on September 5th. 3View will include interviews with each team’s head coach, as they provide fans with their expectations and outlook for the 2025-26 season.

2025 Playoffs: Eliminated in the first round by the Helena Bighorns

2025-26 Division: Frontier Division 

After narrowly missing the postseason the year before, the Badlands Sabres took a huge step forward in 2024-25 by earning a spot in the Fraser Cup Playoffs, a milestone Head Coach Brooks Mitzel believes was pivotal for the program’s growth. Now, the focus shifts to building consistency and setting the tone from day one. With development at the core of their mission, Mitzel is determined to lead a group that competes at a high level from the opening puck drop while preparing players to succeed at the next level.
