Blizzard Captain Collings makes college commitment

The Alexandria Blizzard of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that Captain Ashton Collings has committed to play college hockey for the University of Jamestown.
Collings, 20, was a cornerstone of the Blizzard organization, spending all three seasons of his junior hockey career in Alexandria. The Williston, ND native appeared in 148 games, amassing 128 points (44 goals, 84 assists). After posting identical point totals in his first two seasons, Collings broke out during his final year, boosting his production from 34 to 60 points.
Finishing the 2024-25 campaign as Alexandria’s second-leading scorer, Collings tallied multiple points in 19 games. One of his most memorable performances came at the NA3HL Showcase, where he recorded two goals, including the game-winner, and an assist in a dominant 8-3 victory over the Northeast Generals.
Thanks to his standout season, Collings was selected to represent the Blizzard at the 2025 NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament, where he contributed a goal and an assist for Team Black.
Collings is one of five players from the Blizzard to make a college commitment this season.
