Power Captain Scheurer makes college commitment

The West Bend Power of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that Captain Teagan Scheurer has committed to play college hockey for Northwood University.
Scheurer, 21, is a seasoned NA3HL veteran, having played three full seasons in the league with the Yellowstone Quake and, most recently, the West Bend Power. Over the course of his junior career, the Rice Lake, Wisconsin native appeared in 153 total games and tallied 112 points, including 44 goals and 68 assists.
After a solid rookie season in Yellowstone, Scheurer’s development took a big leap once he joined the Power under Head Coach Jason Woods. He nearly doubled his point production across his final two seasons in West Bend.
During the 2024-25 campaign, he finished as one of the top three scorers on the team with 43 points, helping lead the Power to a Central Division championship and a deep postseason run at the Fraser Cup in St. Louis. His age-out season was filled with key offensive moments, including 13 multi-point games. Notably, he recorded three straight contests with one goal and one assist, including back-to-back games where he converted on the power play.
Scheurer is one of six players from the Power to make a college commitment this season.
