Grizzlies forward Steuck makes NCAA Commitment

The Rochester Grizzlies of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward Tyler Steuck has committed to play NCAA DIII hockey for Saint Mary's University. 

Steuck, 20, wrapped up an impressive three-year NA3HL career with stints on both the Oregon Tradesmen and most recently, the Rochester Grizzlies. The Janesville, WI native was a consistent offensive force, compiling 109 points (47 goals, 62 assists) in 97 career games, averaging over a point per contest and earning attention from NCAA Division III programs along the way.

During the 2024–25 season, Steuck recorded multi-point performances in 12 of his 29 games. His most dominant showing came in a late January series against the Peoria Mustangs, where he totaled six points across two games. In the opener, he erupted for four goals, including a shorthanded tally, helping the Grizzlies to a weekend sweep. 

“We’re very excited and proud to see Tyler advance to college hockey. He has worked hard to improve little areas in his game that will be essential to Division III hockey,” stated Grizzlies’ Coach Brandon Ratzloff. “His hard work and dedication to our program and to his own game was excellent, and it’s the main reason he has earned this opportunity. We wish Tyler the best at St. Mary’s!”

Prior to beginning his junior career, he played two seasons in the NAPHL FALL league with the Janesville Jets at both the 16U and 18U levels. 

Steuck is one of seven players from the Grizzlies to make a college commitment this season.
