3View: Mason City Toros

The 3View video series will feature an in-depth look into all NA3HL teams in preparation for the 2025-26 season, with one team being highlighted daily, leading all the way up until the start of the regular season on September 5th. 3View will include interviews with each team’s head coach, as they provide fans with their expectations and outlook for the 2025-26 season.

Head Coach: Alex North (1st season as Head Coach)

2024-25 season record: 17-23-5-2 (6th in West Division)

2024-25 leading scorer: Kellen Kentaris (36 points)

2025 Playoffs: N/A

2025-26 Division: West Division 

In his first year at the helm, Head Coach Alex North brings valuable experience from both the NAHL and NA3HL levels, giving him a clear understanding of the development pipeline and what it takes to move players forward. After the Toros missed the playoffs last season, North is eager to reignite the winning culture that the Mason City program is known for. Competing in the ultra-competitive West Division, he’s ready to go to battle every night and push his group back into postseason contention.
