Sea Captains forward Ranger makes college commitment

The Norwich Sea Captains of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward Harrison Ranger has committed to play college hockey for Iowa State.
Ranger, 20, has been a steady contributor for Head Coach Kevin Cunningham, spending three seasons with the Norwich Sea Captains in the NA3HL. Over 100 games, the Cromwell, CT native recorded 28 points (9 goals, 19 assists).
His strongest offensive season came in his final year of junior hockey, highlighted by a standout performance on November 25th in a win over the Maine Nordiques, where he recorded his only two-goal game of the season. Another memorable stretch occurred in mid-October when he found the back of the net in back-to-back contests.
“Harrison has been a massive part of the history of the Norwich Sea Captains. He appeared in exactly 100 games over the course of three seasons and helped the team grow significantly throughout his time in Norwich," stated Head Coach Cunningham. "He is an extremely reliable player who his coaches and teammates can trust to bring his best effort and push others every day. Iowa State is getting a great one in Harrison!”
Ranger is one of 10 players from the Sea Captains to make a college commitment this season.
