3View: Texas Brahmas

The 3View video series will feature an in-depth look into all NA3HL teams in preparation for the 2025-26 season, with one team being highlighted daily, leading all the way up until the start of the regular season on September 5th. 3View will include interviews with each team’s head coach, as they provide fans with their expectations and outlook for the 2025-26 season. 

Texas Brahmas

Head Coach: Michael Rooney (Entering 1st season)

2024-25 season record: 34-13-2-0 (3rd in South Division)

2024-25 leading scorer: Joey Crowley (84 points)

2025 Playoffs: Eliminated in the first round by New Mexico 

2025-26 Division: South Division 

Newly appointed Head Coach Michael Rooney steps into his role with the Texas Brahmas already well-versed in the NAHL family of leagues. Drawn to the Brahmas’ tradition of success at both the NA3HL and NAHL levels, Rooney is eager to help players grow within a program that consistently develops and advances talent. He prides himself on being a “sponge,” always learning as both a coach and former player, and looks forward to working closely with the Brahmas’ staff to identify players ready to make the jump to Tier II. With that mindset, Rooney is committed to continuing the Brahmas’ winning culture and keeping them a serious contender in the South Division.
