Texas R 10 @ Pelham 1 - The Texas Roadrunners rolled over the Pelham Prowlers 10-1 to remain undefeated early into the season. The Prowlers scored their only goal five minutes into the game with Marlon Derksen’s shot trickling past Brenden Patterson. Joseph Izzo put the Roadrunners on the board with assists from Wyatt Mineheine and Lucas Dyer. Mineheine took the lead for the Roadrunners to make the score 2-1 to close out the first period. The Roadrunners took off from the second period on. Michael Garrett added to the score with help from William Hesk. Mineheine notched his second goal of the game to make the score now 4-1. Minutes later, he scored again. With two minutes left in the second frame, Matthew Cavanaugh for the Prowlers was called for a kneeing penalty. The Roadrunners could not capitalize on the man advantage going into the final period. Dyer came out ready as he strengthened the lead 5-1. He along with Alex Matysiak, Heskett, and Mineheine continued to get past Collin Jeffries to make the final score 10-1.

Peoria 2 @ St. Louis 6 - The St. Louis Jr. Blues capped off their weekend with a decisive home victory over the Peoria Mustangs. In a physical, gritty contest, special teams played a major role in the outcome. Despite racking up 24 penalty minutes, St. Louis limited Peoria to just one power-play goal, while netting one of their own and striking shorthanded. That shorthanded goal opened the scoring, as Teagen Lee broke free on a breakaway and buried an unassisted goal for the lone tally of the first period. The Blues extended their lead in the second, with Jack Plager and Nicholas Morgan scoring back-to-back just five seconds apart. Niko Bezzole and Ryan Hogan earned assists on Plager’s marker. Peoria responded on the power play when Jordan Mini converted off feeds from Wyatt Duke and Owen Gruden, trimming the deficit to 3–1. But the third period was all St. Louis. Outshooting Peoria 17–3, the Jr. Blues added three more goals—Jace Jordan, Nicholas Morgan, and Caden Lindley finding the back of the net—while Owen Gruden tallied the Mustangs’ lone answer. Joseph Lopiccollo, Jaxson Karandjeff, and Aaron Siebert chipped in assists for St. Louis, with Breyon Maroney and Duke adding helpers for Peoria. Between the pipes, Siebert not only contributed offensively but also shut down the Mustangs with 34 saves on 36 shots. At the other end, Sam Burcal battled hard, stopping 38 of 44 shots against a relentless Jr. Blues attack. With the win, St. Louis improves to 2–0–0 to start the season, while Peoria falls to 0–2–0.
