Texas B 2 @ New Mexico 3 (SO) - Undefeated and the South Division leader, the Texas Brahmas, paid a visit to the New Mexico Ice Wolves on Monday. Texas, looking to pick up their fifteenth straight win of the season, opened the scoring in this one when Tyler Conrad lit the lamp. Later in the first, the Ice Wolves would cash in on the power play to knot the score at one apiece. As the first period was dwindling down, Jacob Wenner added his sixth goal of the season and gave New Mexico the lead as they went into the first intermission. After a scoreless second period, Texas’ John Scharf dented the twine for the ninth time this season, sending this one to overtime. The Ice Wolves would go on to win this one on a shootout, handing the Brahmas their first loss this season.
