Wednesday Wrap-Up: Sharks Secure Shutout Victory

Long Beach 4 @ Maine 0 - The Long Beach Sharks and the Maine Nordiques took the ice on Wednesday afternoon. It was all Long Beach in this East Division matchup. Spencer Nicoloff got the scoring started in this one; he had the lone goal in the opening frame. About 10 minutes into the second, the Sharks got hot again when Sean Bailey tallied his seventh goal of the season, followed by an Eli McCarthy power-play goal that gave the Sharks a 3-0 lead heading into the third period. In the third, Sean Bailey would score a short-handed goal to secure the win, 4-0 over Maine. Will Zinnen kept the crease clean for Long Beach. He padded away 31 shots on goal and earned his third shutout of the year.
