Maine 2 @ New Jersey 4 - A single game was played yesterday afternoon in the 3-Show, as the New Jersey Titans hosted the Maine Nordiques for a Tuesday matchup. Before the game, Maine previously held a better season record compared to Jersey; however, that would not be in their favor. In the first period, the Nordiques opened the scoring two minutes in when Brody Emond capitalized on a feed by Jaxson Sardinha. Then, minutes later, Ivan Korshikov tied it while also short-handed; Mikhail Mishin and Eduard Gubeladze carried out the playmaking. 50 seconds after that, and Korshikov would do it all over again with the jailbreak, go-ahead goal to give the Titans a 2-1 lead. Minutes would pass, and the Nordiques found a way to put one past Syed Nad-E-Ali and tie it up again before the first buzzer. A tie-breaker wouldn't be decided in the second, however, as both netminders held their blue paint, though that would change going into the third. Seven minutes into the third period, Gubeladze grabbed himself another point and mustered the go-ahead goal for Jersey, while Korshikov primarily assisted. After that, the Nordiques fell over and handed the game to the Titans, as the home club scored another moment later to seal the deal. With a little over eight minutes to play, Mishin buried one past the goaltender of Tyler Miller when he was set up by Trevor Gaul and Dewight Singleton.
