One Month Out: The 2026 Top Prospects Tournament Countdown Begins

The 2026 North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) Top Prospects Tournament is one month away, taking place February 16-17, 2026, at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan. The event features four teams made up of the best uncommitted 80 players in the NA3HL.The NA3HL standings will freeze after the games on Sunday, January 18th, with teams seeded within their divisions based on win percentage. The number of players each NA3HL team will send to the tournament is determined by their win percentage within their respective division.

Each NA3HL Top Prospects team will feature a 20-player roster, including 12 forwards, 6 defensemen, and 2 goalies. Players eligible for consideration must be nominated by their respective head coaches. 

2026 NA3HL Top Prospects schedule (all times eastern, subject to change):

Monday, February 16th

➜ 10:00 AM: Black vs. Gold

➜ 11:30 AM: Red vs. White

Tuesday, February 17th

➜ 10:30 AM: Gold vs. Red

➜ 12:45 PM: White vs. Black

The NA3HL Top Prospects Tournament is a prime example of the strong partnership and development pathway between the NA3HL and NAHL. When it comes to Tier III junior leagues, no other league has produced more players who advance to the NAHL than the NA3HL. 

Thanks to the NAHL's extensive resources for player development and exposure, including the annual Top Prospects Tournament, the NA3HL offers a valuable opportunity for players to develop both on and off the ice while being showcased to scouts from junior, college, and professional levels.
