Former St. Louis Forward Karandjeff Makes College Commitment

The St. Louis Jr. Blues of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward Jaxson Karandjeff has committed to play ACHA Division II college hockey for Maryville University (Town and Country, Missouri).

For the past three seasons the St. Louis, Missouri native has played for his hometown team, the St. Louis Jr. Blues. Across those three seasons, Karandjeff recorded 23 points including eight goals for the Jr. Blues.  

The best statistical season for the forward came in 2024-25 when he recorded 10 total points for the Jr. Blues in 46 games. 

The best performance of the 2025-26 season from Karandjeff came on Jan. 2 against the Rochester Grizzlies. In the game, the 6-foot-1 forward helped the Jr. Blues come back from a 3-1 deficit in the second period. Karandjeff scored the game-tying goal to even the score at 3-3.

“Being in his third season in the NA3HL we are excited for Jaxson to move onto the collegiate level. Maryville University is a great educational institution and has a short but strong history in the ACHA,” said St. Louis Jr. Blues head coach Matt Ocello. “Jaxson will continue to develop as a player working hard for this opportunity. We look forward to seeing what Jaxson does on the ice as well as his educational opportunities at Maryville University.”

Karandjeff is one of nine players from the St. Louis Jr. Blues to make a college commitment this season.
