Austin Forward Manderfield Makes College Commitment

The Austin Ice Bats of the North American 3 Hockey League are proud to announce that forward, Mason Manderfield, has committed to play ACHA Division I college hockey for the University of Oklahoma (Norman, Oklahoma).

Manderfield spent one season in the NA3HL with the Austin Ice Bats. He appeared in 32 total games and recorded 56 points, consisting of 31 goals and 25 assists during the regular season. In the post season he scored an additional eight points across six games. 

Manderfield also made a single appearance in the NAHL during the 2025-26 season with the Wisconsin Windigo. 

His best performance from the year came on Feb. 8 against the Tulsa Oilers. He had six points, including four goals and two assists, aiding the Ice Bats in a 13-0 shutout victory over the Oilers. 

Manderfield is one of six players from the Austin Ice Bats to make a college commitment this season.
