Sabres Forward Schneider Makes College Commitment

The Badlands Sabres of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward, Cole Schneider, has committed to play ACHA Division I college hockey for Waldorf University (Forest City, Iowa).

Schneider spent two seasons in the NA3HL with the Sabres. The 2025-26 season was his best statistically.

During the 2025-26 season, he recorded 18 points throughout the entirety of the regular and post season. He had eight goals and ten assists throughout 44 games. 

“This is a great opportunity for Cole,” said Sabres head coach Brooks Mitzel. “He has been great for us for 2 years and it is exciting seeing his hard work pay off. Waldorf has a special player for 4 years and we are excited to see him excel.”

Schneider’s best performance of the year came on Nov. 28 against the Yellowstone Quake. He recorded three assists to aid in the Sabres’ 7-2 victory over the Quake.

Schneider is one of four players from the Badlands Sabres to make a college commitment this season.
