Moose Forward Marchand Makes College Commitment
The Minnesota Vulcans, formerly known as the Minnesota Moose, of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward, Charlie Marchand, has committed to play ACHA Division I college hockey for Iowa State University (Ames, Iowa).
Marchand spent two years in the NA3HL with the Minnesota Moose. The 2025-26 season was his best season statistically. He played in 46 regular season games, recording 22 goals and 27 assists making up 49 total points. He led his team in assists and was a top overall scorer for the Moose.
"Charlie was an impact player for the Minnesota Moose, leading the team in goals with 22 and amassing 49 points in 46 regular season games, Charlie was a statistical leader for us and as an 07 birth year we would have loved to have had him back for another season,” said Vulcans head coach Todd Sanden “However, the goal of our team for all of our players is to help them develop into college hockey players."
Marchand’s best performance of the year came on Jan. 30 against the Minnesota Wilderness. He scored three goals and recorded one assist to aid in the Moose’s 6-1 victory over the Wilderness.
Marchand is one of twelve players from the Minnesota Moose to make a college commitment this season.
