Rougarou Goaltender Coldwell Makes College Commitment
The Bayou State Rougarou of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that goaltender, Doron Coldwell, has committed to play ACHA Division II college hockey for Utah Valley University (Orem, Utah).
The Southlake, Texas native has been with the Rougarou for one season. He played in four games for the team. In those games, Coldwell had a save percentage of .765.
“We’re proud to see Doron’s hard work pay off and excited to watch him continue his hockey career at Utah Valley University,” said Rougarou Head Coach Paul Maclean.
Coldwell’s best performance between the pipes came against the Louisiana Drillers on Feb. 8. In that game, Coldwell played for nine minutes and had 17 saves and a .85 SV%.
Coldwell is one of five players from the Bayou State Rougarou to make a college commitment this season.
