3VIEW: Wausau Cyclones

The 3View video series will feature an in-depth look into all NA3HL teams in preparation for the 2026-27 season, with one team being highlighted daily, leading all the way up until the start of the regular season on September 4th. 3View will include interviews with each team’s head coach, as they provide fans with their expectations and outlook for the 2026-27 season.

Location: Wausau, Wisconsin

After serving as assistant coach for the Cyclones for three years, Luke Meyer is stepping into the role as bench boss for the 2026-27 season. As the team gears up for the upcoming season, Meyer is emphasizing the importance of preparation, player development, and building on the strong culture established within the organization over the past few seasons. 

“We’re looking to build off that culture, giving these players roles, and helping them have an identity with the team,” he explains. 

The Wausau Cyclones enter the season with ambitious goals, including competing for the Central Division title and advancing further in the playoffs.
