RoadRunners Forward Heskett Makes College Commitment

The Texas RoadRunners of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that forward, William Heskett, has committed to play ACHA Division I college hockey for Western Michigan University (Kalamazoo, Michigan).

Heskett spent three seasons in the NA3HL. He began his league career with the Mid Cities Jr. Stars during the 2023-24 season. He joined the Texas RoadRunners for the 2024-25 season and stayed with the team for the remainder of his time in the league.

The 2025-26 season was his best statistically. He recorded 68 points consisting of 38 goals and 30 assists. He led his team in goals and was the second leading scorer for the RoadRunners.

During the post season with the RoadRunners he recorded an additional goal and assist.

In March of 2024, Heskett was selected to compete in the Top Prospects Tournament. The tournament consisted of the best uncommitted players in NA3HL and the NAHL. Heskett represented the NA3HL on NA3HL Red and recorded one assist during the tournament. 

Heskett’s best performance of the year came on Sep. 13 against the Carolina Rage. He scored four goals and recorded one assist to aid in the RoadRunners’ 12-0 victory over the Rage. 

Heskett is one of three players from the Texas RoadRunners to make a college commitment this season.
