St. Louis Goaltender Sibert Makes College Commitment

August 31, 2026

The St. Louis Jr. Blues of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) are proud to announce that goaltender, Aaron Sibert, has committed to play ACHA Division II college hockey for Liberty University (Lynchburg, Virginia).

Sibert spent one season in the NA3HL with the Jr. Blues. During the 2025-26 season, he appeared in 15 games. He boasted a record of 8-5. He finished the regular season with a save percentage of .905.

“We know that this was high on the list of schools that Aaron wanted to attend to continue his education and have the opportunity to play collegiate hockey,” said Matt Ocello, head coach of the Jr. Blues. “We look forward to watching Aaron continue to grow not only on the ice but more importantly off the ice.”

One of Sibert’s best performances between the pipes occurred on Nov. 22 against the Wausau Cyclones. He stopped 42 out of 44 shots, holding off the Cyclones allowing the Jr. Blues to take the game 4-2.

Sibert is one of 12 players from the St. Louis Jr. Blues to make a college commitment this season.
