Sugar Land Imperials 0 @ Topeka Capitals 9: Yu Hikosaka and Hardijs Kupaks had seven points each as the Topeka Capitals won in a shutout victory 9-0 over the Sugar Land Imperials. Hikosaka, who was playing in his first game back after a stint with Team Japan, scored four goals and added three assists while Kupaks finished with two goals and five assists. Mike McElroy stopped 18 shots in net to finish with the shutout for Topeka. Sugar Land goaltender Colton Anderson stopped 43 shots during the defeat. Boxscore

Twin City Steel 3 @ North Iowa Bulls 6: The North Iowa Bulls concerted on three out of four power play opportunities to down the Twin City Steel 6-3. Matt Kroska had a monster night for the Bulls picking up five assists and assisting on each of the three power play tallies. In addition to Kroskas big night, Timothy Santopoalo and Brandon Anderson both picked up three points. Jerod Sabaska was the offensive leader for the Steel picking up two assists during the loss. North Iowa goaltender Chris Amsden had a busy night stopping 30 shots and improving his record to 13-1-0 on the season. Boxscore
