Sugar Land Imperials 2 @ Topeka Capitals 9: Kole Hudson dished out four assists and Yu Hikosaka scored a hat trick as the Topeka Capitals scored nine goals in a victory over Sugar Land completing the 3-game sweep. Benton Deanovich opened the scoring for the Capitals just a minute and fifteen seconds into the game with Hudson picking up his first assist. The Imperials did all of their offense in the final period with Zach Blohm and Wayne Hubley picking up the goals for Sugar Land. Boxscore
Cincinnati Swords 2 @ St. Louis Jr. Blues 1: In a game where both goaltenders had 30+ saves it was Joe Sheppard who came up big in net for the Swords stopping 39 Jr. Blues shots to help Cincinnati to a 2-1 victory. The Jr. Blues opened the scoring when Andrew Kovacich picked up a shorthanded goal on Sheppard to give St. Louis an early 1-0 lead. The Swords would strike twice in the middle frame with Hunter Schneider and Thomas Clayton scoring to give Cincinnati the lead. Sheppard stopped all 14 shots in the final period to secure his fourth win of the season. Boxscore
