Bulls win local community service award

February 25, 2014
The North Iowa Bulls of the NA3HL are pleased and honored to announce that the Mason City Family YMCA has chosen the Bulls as the Volunteer Group of the Year for 2013.

The honor was announced to Head Coach/GM Todd Sanden this past Sunday at the 1st Annual Power Play Pool Party with the Bulls, the second such event to take place at the local YMCA this season involving fans and Bulls players; the first being a dodgeball event hosted last November.

"This is a huge honor for us," Coach Sanden remarked. Director of Business Operations Nick Crimmins went on to add, "the Mason City Community and surrounding areas give us so much support coming out in record numbers to our home games, leading the league in attendance going on 3 full seasons now, and traveling on the road with our boys in droves. Myself and Todd felt it very important during last off-season that we make sure to get out and support the community the way they have supported us, and this is just a small step in achieving that goal."

Stay tuned to the North Iowa Bulls website and social media channels, as well as the Mason City Family YMCA website and social media for information on future events with Bull's players at the Mason City Family YMCA.
