Bulls cruise to Championship Game on Day 3

Adam Roeder had a hat-trick to help the St. Louis Jr. Blues finish in 3rd place at the Silver Cup with a win over Dallas.
St. Louis Jr. Blues 8 vs. Dallas Jr. Stars 1
– On the strength of five 1st period goals the St. Louis Jr. Blues picked up their first win of the Silver Cup to finish in 3rd place with a 8-1 win over Dallas. Adam Roeder recorded a hat-trick for the Jr. Blues, with all three goals coming in the 1st period along with goals from Christian Argyros and Mike Lozano. Chris Brown added a 2nd period goal to make it 6-0. Lozano scored his second shorthanded goal of the game in the 3rd period to make the score 7-0. Dallas would answer with their only goal of the game to make it 7-1 on a strike from Blake McIntyre, but a late power play goal from Alexander Carlsson would make the final 8-1. North Iowa Bulls 7 vs. Flint Junior Generals 3
– Some different names made appearances in what would be a Championship Game preview as North Iowa defeated Flint, 7-3. North Iowa dominated the first half of the game as pressure was fast and furious. They ended up outshooting the Junior Generals 52-17 for the game. North Iowa led 2-0 after the 1st period on goals from Tim Santopoalo and Ron Lindgren. The Bulls then exploded for four goals in a 10-minute span in the 2nd period on two goals from Austin Jackson and others from Kyle Kruger and Chris Howard. Flint showed signs of life late in the 2nd period and early in the 3rd period as Zach Koonce scored twice and Trevor Benaglio added other goal to cut the lead to 6-3. Zach Jones added a late Bulls goal in the 3rd period to make the final 7-3. Jordan Moran picked up the win, making 13 saves, while Andrew Wagner took the loss making 45 saves. Boxscore
