Bulls forward Kroska makes NCAA commitment
The North Iowa Bulls of the NA3HL are proud to announce that three year captain and leading scorer Matt Kroska has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey for St. Olaf College for the 2014-15 season.
Kroska, from Elko, MN, was most recently named the NA3HL MVP, forward of the year, and a first team all star selection. Matt will join former North Iowa Bulls teammates Nick Marsh (2011-12) and Patrick Sivets (2011-13) at St. Olaf.
St. Olaf head coach Sean Goldsworthy on landing Kroska, "We are thrilled to add Matt to our program. Matt adds great skill, hockey sense, and tremendous leadership to every team he plays for, St. Olaf will be the next program to benefit."
Coach Todd Sanden remarked, "Matt was a cornerstone of our program and he will be genuinely missed. Matt's character, work ethic, and leadership are what separates him from other players. The North Iowa Bulls wish Matt Kroska and St. Olaf the best of luck in their future together."
Kroska, 21, shattered league offensive records in 2013-14. His 122 points and 90 assists were both new league single-season records, as was his +107 rating. He was honored as the NA3HL Forward of the Month twice this past season.
